Sand Art Gallery

Using a magnet and a steel ball, a Sisyphus kinetic art table creates dramatic and mesmerizing patterns in sand.

This gallery contains photographs of tracks that I have created and drawn on my 16-inch diameter Sisyphus Side Table. These tracks can be found in the Community area of the Sisyphus website/app and played on your table. Once on the community site, search for "Mark Roland" to access the tracks for download.

These tracks were made using custom software that I have developed and shared online.

* "Spiral of Spirals" is a track that I entered into the Sisyphus Community Track Contest in 2020. It was selected as the Judges Pick in the Algorithmic category. This was a tremendous honor and surprise. Read more about this design.
