Heart Ring

I designed and modeled this ring using 3D modeling software (Blender) and then had this ring 3D printed and cast in silver by i.Materialise in Belgium as a Valentine's gift for my wife.
I was hoping to have a low-polygon model printed so that the ring would have many facets and be very angular, yet delicate. Unfortunately the facet resolution was lost in the printing process and the finished product did not come out quite like my model. Regardless, I am still very happy with the finished product and it was a an exciting project to work on.
