Headdress

This was an Industrial Design project at the University of Kansas. The objective was to design a mask or headdress that was inspired a piece of architecture. This headdress was inspired by the architecture of Renzo Piano in New Caledonia. This was one of my first collegiate design projects and I will never forget pouring over this for 40 hours in a week, slicing all of the dowels to size and lacquering them. All the while I had massive amounts of engineering homework to attend to as well. I simply love the aesthetic of this project and am very proud of the results.
