Portable Drawing Board

This was an Industrial Design project at the University of Kansas. The objective was to design a portable drawing board.
This drawing board features a shoulder strap and triangular support structure that collapses. The writing surface contains embedded magnets that "latch" with a steel strip in the canvas cover so that the canvas does not flap while in transit. It works much the same as the iPad Smart Cover released over six years after this project.
