EECS Newsletter

2005

In 2004 I was hired by the EECS department chair to be the department web designer. Over the course of a year I worked with the department’s web committee to update the web site to be more aesthetically pleasing and easier to navigate. In addition, the site was designed to meet all the accessibility requirements of Sec. 508. This was implemented through a 100% CSS design.

Unfortunately, months after completion the University deployed a new identity initiative requiring all departments to adopt a standard template. Oh well — the joy is in the making anyway.
